Your mission to extract deep undercover agents - code-named 'The Family' - from Budapest has been sabotaged. You are now locked inside a bank where ‘The Family’ have hidden their passports and a microchip containing top-secret information – including their location. Your new mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find ‘The Family’ by locating their passports and the microchip in 60 minutes! If you fail, ‘The Family’ will be killed. This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds…

Tom Cruise couldn’t do what I do I’ll tell you that. Similar to the Da Vinci game here this is a revamped version of a room time has since forgotten. Another one-roomer, we were immediately greeted with the terrifying sight of 13 identical safes. Some interesting and fairly challenging puzzles, the mission did at some points feel a little less than possible. There were a few puzzles I felt were a little unnecessarily convoluted and could use a little polish/refinement. This was probably my least favourite of the 3 rooms here. The sheer amount of safes and going back and forth between diagrams and blueprints to work out where to put codes in just started to grate on me by then end. Not a bad room necessarily but not one I can say I enjoyed too much.

Mission: Possible turned out to be a pretty ironic title given the general difficulty of the room but we persevered nonetheless. Another one-room experience, this is another classic-style revamp that carries a crazy amount of puzzles packed into a fairly small space; while it's a fun challenge, it can quickly become pretty overwhelming. With about 13-odd electronic safes to work through and endless gadgets to play around with, there's a decent variety of content which sometimes works and sometimes feels monotonous (looking at you, laser puzzle). Another challenging addition for anyone looking for something harder and more puzzle dense. Special shout out to our GM John who was a superstar and ran all of our rooms perfectly. What a king. 5.4/10 🔏🧩
