4 escape rooms
Overall I have to rate it roughly a 2/10. The lady that brought us in was friendly and welcoming despite having a massive party prior to our group. However, as far as escape rooms go, I would say it’s something more on par with a parent/church setting up an escape room for their kids. No fancy sounds, no running soundtrack, no flashing lights etc. if you’re just looking to search for clues and solve puzzles it will be alright, but if you’re looking for an immersive experience this likely will leave you a bit disappointed.
Gameplay
The experience started off rough by being given a “start point” by staff where they told us where to look to start the game, then gave us a hint by saying “the code to locks may be outside of the room you’re in”. Additionally we were given a broken blacklight which caused us to not be able to see numbers to unlock one of the locks.
Atmosphere
I do believe they have tried to create the best experience they could with what they have. If you look at it for what it is (a small town escape room), it was okay. But when you compare it to the other escape rooms I’ve been to, it looks like something a mom and dad set up at home for the kids. Staff were friendly and inviting so that was a major plus. Some of the puzzles weren’t fully reset which caused us to skip some parts entirely.
Customer service
GM was welcoming and friendly. Just please don’t help solve the first puzzle before walking out of the room.
