Wild West Heist

Room was well themed and puzzles were fun. But, there were a few things in this room that kept me from giving a Heart. One puzzles required pulling on things harder than should be expected and required the GM to tell us to pull on it. Another puzzle was too finicky and needs to be replaced or fixed. But Dustin our GM/manager was super nice and helped make sure we escaped in time. IMO the room was fun even with the couple of issues we had. But if you only have time to do one room here, I would pick one of the other two rooms.

This room was the better of the two we did (we also did the prison break room). It was fine, although nothing to write home about. A lot of locks and keys. Even though the room was okay, we didn’t enjoy ourselves because of the GM. He wasn’t paying attention and was borderline rude. I wouldn’t go back.

This room scratched the escape room itch, but I remember feeling somewhat annoyed needing to pay a 3 person minimum to play it given how doable it was with just 2 people (the other person being my roommate who had never played an escape room before). The choice to incorporate science with a Wild West theme was certainly a choice. I suppose I didn't hate it, but it wasn't really incorporated in an interesting way. The puzzles made sense and were varied in type. The final reveal was fun. Overall, I still thought it was a fine room, but I had one major gripe. At one point we had to ask for a hint because something required EXCESSIVE force to move. The stiffness of that prop seriously needs to be addressed, but at the very least, the gamemaster should be noticing that I'm interacting with it and letting me know to use more strength. Aside from that, our gamemaster was great though.

This was a great room, I used it propose, and everything went as planned! My gf, now fiancé, was sooo surprised and all she thought was that we were going for my niece's birthday. It was ALL thanks to Breakout Charleston. I would recommend this room and company to anyone that likes or want to get into escape rooms!

Fun room! Medium difficulty, props were fun and puzzles were original.

This was a really cool room. It was designed special to have no combination locks, and the puzzles within were super fun
