Legend of the Yeti

Fun and light-hearted room This is just a fun romp. It has a great mix of physical and mental challenges to tackle. The variety never strayed too far into the hard difficulty range. This felt like a very fair room in terms of puzzle density and challenge. This would be a nice mix of a starter/experienced group as there is enough to do but could be a nice way to ease into escape rooms; definitely friendly for the younger members of your team. I actually enjoyed they rethemed Gold Rush. It has the same room architecture but the puzzling is unique to this room. This did not feel like a retread in the least. Definitely recommend this one.

A much better version of the space than Gold Rush with some repeated games and some delightful new ones. Like Gold Rush, there’s at least one clue that relies on aim and accuracy, which always eats up a lot of time.

For the average guest, it's still an acceptable room. For an enthusiast who knows what The Escape Game is capable of, however? This isn't up to their usual standards. At the end of the day, it's just a rethemed version of Gold Rush with fewer puzzles, most of which are incredibly linear and less technologically-driven than its previous iteration. In terms of scenic, Legend of the Yeti starts out strong but also just gets worse as you progress, ending with an extremely anti-climactic final room. Do it for the credit, but this one just seems lazy after playing everything else The Escape Game has to offer.

A pretty reskin of their previous Goldrush room. The scenic elements were fun but the lighting in this room still suffers greatly, especially in the second room, hindering gameplay a bit - flashlights or additional lighting would be a great addition. The gameplay was fun and the puzzles made logical sense and were very in theme! Overall a very enjoyable experience, though I recommend asking the game masters not to send any clues as some can be a little quick to want to jump in.

I thought some of the puzzles were unique, but I have yet to try to gold rush room and I have heard the rooms are similar. But overall my friend and I had a good time and our GM was awesome and enthusiastic. The theming was there but the storyline was not super relevant.

This game is simple but a fun improvement over Gold Rush which has the same layout. Sadly, the storyline doesn't make much sense - and the GM couldn't explain it to us after the fact. The final puzzle is very good but would be better if there had been some story justification for it.

I might have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t done Gold Rush, but the whole time it just felt like a less exciting reskin. The puzzles were ok and it was easy enough to figure out each one. A good room for beginners or family fun.

We had a lot of fun with this escape room. The winter/arctic/Nepal theme was really fun. Overall it was not a hard room but it moved nicely and had a few puzzles and hidden props used in ways we had never experienced before. We had 6 ppl in our group and while we are not escape room experts, we’ve done many, so we think the size of our group and our skill level made it easy for us to get out rather quickly. A few people in our group were disappointed at how quickly we got out. Things definitely a great gsm for families. It’s not scary but there are a few “jump scsre”-style moments with noise and multi media that enhanced the experience. Definitely recommend.
