The holidays were drawing to a close, yet your thirst for adventure kept pushing you further. A hike through a remote region, a trail forgotten on every map… It was exactly what you needed. But the villagers in the last town seemed uneasy when you asked questions, vaguely mentioning forgotten ruins, a sky forever overcast, and a path barely passable, like they’d rather avoid the topic altogether. Ruins! That alone was enough to spark your curiosity. The trail led deep into a forest where daylight barely pierced the thick canopy. Bit by bit, the fog thickened, clinging to the branches. The air grew heavier, damp with a biting chill. Beneath your feet, the ground felt denser… almost still. Then, silence fell. Absolute silence. Not a rustling leaf, not a single birdcall. As if nature itself were holding its breath. And then, in the heart of the darkness, it appeared. A towering castle, frozen in time. Its shattered towers clawed at the sky, its cracked walls seemed to watch you. The air around it felt heavier, suffocating, as if the place itself refused to let go of those who came too close. The wind had died. Nothing moved. The castle stood before you. And it was waiting.

Some great moments but puzzles were lacking both in quantity and quality. Too much downtime really broke immersion. Still liked the experience but a bit underwhelmed. Very overrated at #19 Terpeca.

Un jeu avec tous les éléments (ou presque) que j'ai toujours voulu voir dans un jeu d'évasion. J'ai sauté de joie plusieurs fois. Des belles surprises à tous les coins, j'en aurait pris encore et encore. La meilleure salle de SQP selon moi. (Et mon nouveau top 1).

Castle of eternal suffering is a must play for anyone coming to the area. One of the most well polished games I've played, lots of set design details created with finesse. It has something for every type of player; fun puzzles, strong narrative, physicality, special effects and many surprises. In terms of being a well packaged experience I expect it to be a favorite for people around here for a good while.

Salle vraiment amusante. Une petite dose d’horreur et un peu plus physique que les autres salles au Québec. Décors incroyables, énigmes agréables et variées… la salle a faire avec des ados ! Probablement la meilleure sur la rive-sud et à Montréal. Rejoint le club des salles sélects de la province !
