The Movie Monster Murder Mystery

Made it out in record time!! we had a great time! The atmosphere and sets throughout the rooms were quite good. This location has such a homey feel to it and I can't help but love that! I always love a family-owned escape room, because its always evident the passion they have for what they do and there is always such a beautiful charm to there rooms that you can't really achieve in more elaborate experiences. I believe that this experience was trying to go for a comedy room, I felt if this was the method we were going for a few more comedic beats could have amped it more! I would've loved if they fully leaned into the comedy of the room! No it is not the most elaborate experience that you'll play but the flow was great and an addition of some really creative puzzles too! it was an extremely cute experience and the owners and game masters are really welcoming and incredible people! This is a very low thumbs up. I hate giving a thumbs down unless something is really bad and this room had just enough positives to keep a thumbs up. Barely. I really wanted to love a monster murder mystery but this game fought me every step of the way. The puzzles did not always make sense, one was missing a part, you find and collect a lot of information that is never needed. The overall impression was a non-cohesive, disorganized jumble of ideas that don't really come together in the end. It felt like there was the seed of something that could have been great but did not live up to its potential.

Goofy with a really fun ending. Whodunnits aren't my favorite type of game, but this game doesn't take itself seriously, and might have a twist or two in store. The puzzles in the opening were just OK (your standard "count x", press Y, etc), but the game improved a lot as it went on, and the take on the whodunnit was unique and worth seeing.

This was a very challenging room for 2 people but still totally do-able! We had a slow start but then started to cook. Love the story and theme and set design was so detailed! We did get stuck a few times but the GM gave us the perfect amount of nudges.

The room concept was great, but the game master was not very clear on his clues. He also delayed helping us. Not the best experience with the game master, but willing to try the other room with the other gamemaster.

This was a really fun take on a classic monsters game! Puzzles were solid and flowed well. A pretty fun and unique story and a fun set as well! Needed no clues for a group of 2 and got out with 8 minutes left.

what a fun spooky room! i really enjoyed the ambience and fun use of visuals in this one. such a well themed environment with funky puzzles and fun interactions. the puzzles were challenging (with some easy ones) and they fit the vibe perfectly!

I was lucky enough to Beta Test it, and I seriously had so much fun!!! It’s like living through a Monster Hunter/ Detective/ Comedy film! Definitely come check out this room if you are in the area!
