We had a great time and spent another hour after finishing the room talking about the best parts. Incredible jump scares.

Literally the best escape room I have ever played! There are tons of unexpected surprises!!!! And the most unexpected jump scares I have ever encountered so far.

We had Ben for our game master and he made the game very special for us.

Room full of surprises and twists.Very clever and engaging puzzles.GM is great and very friendly.Easily one of the best rooms in LA.

Loved this game. It was really fun. Very creative, awesome set design, fun puzzles! It had it all.

I really loved this room, it was so clever, there were so many fun moments, unique puzzles, the set decoration was phenomenal and the puzzles felt really tactile. My main complaint, keeping me from being able to give it a “love” review, was some really distracting uses of AI. There is a section of the game that is a really fun puzzle, that relies heavily on AI videos. There is SO much thought and care in the rest of the room and that aspect was fairly disappointing. Ben was a fantastic GM and really facilitated a great experience, there were so many great surprises and I recommend this game, especially if the AI videos are replaced with stock footage or human made videos. Was a nice challenge with a ton of things to do!

Twisted Matrix was a great room and another solid experience from Maze Rooms. In general, Maze Rooms always delivers when it comes to set design, immersion, and strong themes, and this room was no exception. It had a lot of fun twists and unexpected moments that kept the game exciting the whole way through. Even though it isn’t advertised as a scary room and it’s definitely not horror, there are a few moments that feel like small jump scares because of the tech and surprise effects. Nothing intense, just those quick “oh wow, I wasn’t expecting that” moments that make it even more entertaining. The puzzles were great and the room did a really good job mixing things up. This isn’t a traditional, older-style escape room where everything feels basic or predictable. It’s much more modern and high-tech, and the way the room flows makes it feel really immersive and unique. You can tell a lot of creativity went into the experience, and it stays engaging from start to finish. The only downside for us was that we weren’t able to take a photo at the end. We asked our game master if we could take a picture in the room, and they told us no because it was one of their newer rooms and they didn’t want any spoilers getting out. It was a little disappointing since we always like to get a picture after completing each room, and we’ve seen other groups able to take photos in the room since then. It wasn’t enough to ruin the experience, but it was definitely a bummer in the moment. Overall, Twisted Matrix was a really fun game and we would absolutely recommend it, especially if you enjoy high-tech rooms with creative surprises and a more modern escape room feel. My partner especially loved it and said it’s now one of his top five favorites, and I can definitely see why

This was a crazy room with so many twists during the entire escape room. Probably their best room at this location.

Great game amazing use of space very top notch set design.

I loved it! It’s gorgeous and fun. Cool reveals and a lot of unique moments that I enjoyed. Play it.
