Room was small and definitely not made for 12 people, but that's how many they shoved inside. Decorations were fun. Some of the puzzles were not well put together or thought through. The staff was in the room with you and constantly told you what to do, was taking pieces from you and giving puzzles to other people, or telling you not to work on certain tasks yet. None of this was prompted or necessary, it made me feel like I was back in elementary school. Staff was also encouraging people to memorize stuff to solve a puzzle, which was not necessary (And shouldn't be necessary in a decent escape room), but there were not enough activities for people to do otherwise.

Gameplay

Puzzles needed more physical space than the room had with 12 people in it. There were also issues with a puzzle with people of different heights.

Atmosphere
Customer service

Staff was nice, but their involvement ruined the experience entirely. I did not enjoyed being told what to do to solve the puzzles or having things taken from me, I prefer being treated like an adult in an escape room.

This is a shared experience on Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas and it typically runs pretty full with 10-12 people. It’s also just one room, so they packed ALOT of puzzles into the space. Some of the puzzles are excellent and others didn’t really land. I think it’s worth doing the room if you’re an enthusiast and can work well with others.

Gameplay

This room is meant to be played with 10-12 people, so there’s ALOT going on in a small space.

Atmosphere

The theming is great! It even includes some authentic elements from the time period.

Customer service

Our GM was so super helpful, which was awkward because they are in the room with you.
