Carnival

We faced our fears and left with our souls intact. The actors were great and ambiance was creepy. We loved it! Loved all of the props and dialogue. Cocktails were so good. Such a fun experience.

We had a great time at the Carnival. My boyfriend and I arrived a bit early and waited in the lounge and grabbed some tasty drinks. Bucky the clown invited us to some mini games before the show started. I atmosphere in the carnival was spooky and really immersive. To leave the haunted carnival we had to collect clues. The staff would try to help you in subtle ways if you’re too far off the course. The owner Eddie was on set and was really welcoming. We look forward to the 13th room’s other haunts and eacape rooms.

My girlfriend and I found this experience through social media and we were pleasantly surprised to see it was being done by the owners of the 13th room. We had done The Silence in the past and thoroughly enjoyed that room so we knew this was going to be great. Just as expected, it was a blast and I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone that enjoys either escape rooms or haunted houses. This falls somewhere in the middle of those two. The acting and ambience were superb. Big shout out to the actors that played Bucky and morrow, they definitely stole my heart for the night and an even bigger shoutout to eddy for putting together such an awesome experience. Side note - if you plan on going, it’s fine to have a few drinks before but don’t have too many because you will need to remember some things to escape this carnival of horrors!

Had an amazing time! Better than what we were expecting. The stories were great and well thought out. You can tell that the actors have worked really hard to put on this production together. We will be coming back and bringing more friends!

A delicious dive into a demented funhouse, Carnival is a fun Halloween treat that encourages exploration, both external and within. When my group and I first pulled up to the location, I was very amazed - The 13th Room had found the perfect spot for their latest venture, and it greatly set the mood for the rest of the night. In fact, the location, along with the costumes, characters, lighting, sound, set decoration, and attention to detail all add up to form a memorable experience. The brilliant use of dark and light in the various scenes within the whole adventure elevated the night, and their use of space to give the illusion that we are in a bigger area was really well done. Additionally, the actors know how to play off of the crowd, and I had a great time interacting with them. Eddy, the creator, was a fun and giving host, and as the night progressed, we all felt comfortable enough to play and let loose with other attendees and the actors. It felt like a collaborative event where we all were having fun together. Surprisingly, the content can get very deep and personal, offering many opportunities at introspection. They won't force you to reveal your inner demons, but they offer the chance to voluntarily share some personal feelings with the crowd. While this might not be welcomed by everybody, I appreciated the contrast between light-hearted fun and deep reflection. Other than the main event, the show offers an excellent assortment of themed cocktails, homemade cookies, and other snacks. Plenty of 1-1 opportunities are available. For an additional fee, you can also interact with the fortune tellers. There is comfortable seating throughout, and the place has a dedicated bathroom with plumbing, which is very much welcomed. I had a great time at the Carnival and look forward to more offerings from The 13th Room.

Always been a big fan of 13th room/the creator (Eddie’s work) but this one left us with disappointment comparing to his other works. Maybe my group and I expected more from the company and maybe we shouldn’t be comparing this one to all the other rooms? Either way don’t want to spoiled too much, I don’t think it was worth the price, I would rather recommend everyone else to do his other rooms in 13th room.

Very fun and very different. The experience falls closer to an immersive theatre and haunt than a traditional escape room, but there’s also a pretty decent meta-puzzle thrown in that only a few will solve. Overall, if you like a good horror experience and don’t mine a slightly different experience than your typical escape room or haunt, you’ll have a blast!

I've been to a few escape rooms with friends and they often differ by a large margin in terms of spookiness. I'd say that this one is not that scary, but the mood and tension is great. There were so many different live actors that it felt very personal, there were more at this one than every one I've been to combined. I felt that the actors did a great job to make an enjoyable experience, and interacted with the audience to make the event more engaging. One major point I want to include is that it's not like a conventional escape room, but more like an interactive spooky experience. That being said, I really like how unique it was, and all of the actors really made it special. I'd definitely recommend this to someone that wants to dip their toes into a spooky escape room because though it didn't feel all that scary, I really enjoyed it for what it was. Finally I met the owner after, who I hear is called Escape Room Eddie, and he's such a cool guy. I can see his passion, and am excited to try another one of his escape rooms in the future. I hope he sees this review and is encouraged to continue!

Holy cow this was a great experience. not an escape room, but very similar to a carnival and it was great. there were a few shows, all of which were very good. actors did amazing and the atmosphere was great. it was super fun and i would 100% recommend beware: it is not an escape room, it is an experience.
