Now You See Me: Escape Room Experience

The game itself was great! I loved the puzzles and the flow. Only one puzzle was messed up, but it didn’t ruin the game for me personally. They just set it up wrong for that specific code. The part that was not good was the game mastering. They sent the wrong hint at least 3-4 times within the last 10 minutes as we were on the second to last puzzle. The hint being repeatedly sent was for the last portion, which did not make sense to us as we did not have all the items needed yet. THEN, they stop our time with 5 minutes left and came in saying we won, when we most definitely did not. We had just barely unlocked an item as they stopped our time. That item that got unlocked was triggered unlocked as well. That last part really did ruin the game for all of us and felt unsatisfying.

Overall it was a fun experience! The only downside was our game master would give us hints without us requesting and they were not hints they were the answers to each puzzle and he did this 4-5 times. But the room was fun and had puzzles that were unique

Not sure if I’ve gotten used to the ease of some rooms or if my brain wasn’t clicking today. The puzzles were challenging and the “tricks” performed quite clever. Truly enjoyed this room!
