Board to Death

Board games and whodunnit murder mysteries, 2 of my loves packaged together! It’s a clever premise that inserted us into the Clue(less) Mansion. It’s a small room that takes advantage of lots of small tactile genuine board game parts and three tracks of puzzles. Each track leads you to part of the overall mystery solution, and helps narrow down whodunnit, wheredunnit, and with whatdunnit. The finale sequence is a fun welcome surprise. This is a game that tabletop gamers will likely enjoy, and mystery solvers will appreciate. At the very least, I doubt this room would actually leave anyone board to death.

Really enjoyed this room. You are trying to determine 3 pieces of information. Very good for a smaller local escape room. Stevee our game master was great.

Pretty unorthodox room in terms of how it's set up! I'd call it hard but fair, and I genuinely enjoyed the thinking behind it. Although it's doable as a pair, I'd suggest 3 to 4 people given the amount of things that can be done in parallel and challenges which may need more than one person to have a go. Well worth doing and very engaging, with really solid theming. This one is definitely for the puzzle-lovers.
