A little less spooky than Haruka High, but atmospheric. Omescape is consistent.

Once a beacon for weary travelers, Motel Molly promised rest beneath its glowing neon sign. But those days are gone. The rooms sit abandoned, and whatever lingers inside is far from welcoming. It was here that Olivia disappeared without a trace. Her husband, Noah, followed, certain the motel held the answers—only to vanish himself. Now, Noah’s desperate call has reached you, his closest friends. To uncover the truth, you must retrace his steps and face whatever secrets hide within these walls… before they close in around you.

We survived Motel Molly! Omescape gets a lot of praise for their Sunnyvale games, but less so for their San Jose location! I think Motel Molly is a definite stand out here. Creepy atmosphere, well designed set and fun cinematic moments without being over the top. Fun group puzzles, and one that stumped us! A light spooky game with actor interactions. Play it!

Motel Molly was a cinematic experience that spanned an ever-expanding space and kept us on edge the entire time. The scares were persistent from beginning to end, but structured well between the puzzles and utilized the space fantastically. The decor and set design was extremely strong and built perfectly to deliver some unexpected scares. This room definitely leans more towards “cinematic” instead of “puzzley”, and it definitely left me wanting a bit more from the space. Definitely still worthwhile to visit in the San Jose area, and another great experience from Omescape!

I post this review to help those that are scaredy cats like me! - scarier than I expected - we had 6 total guests. 2 would’ve been impossible. - more of an experience, than an escape room with puzzles.
When really thinking about it, the additional things added to the plot made it confusing. Cool room though.
Great set design!

Fun theming and design. We had fun with it, especially a few parts (no spoilers). The puzzles were pretty easy.

Love this room for the decor, theatrics and atmosphere. A little spooky in parts. Puzzles were pretty easy.

Very immersive and well done as you would expect from a new Omescape room. I am a total chicken butt so I spent a lot of my time rationalizing with myself but the puzzles were great, staff was phenomenal and I would love to do it again!

We did just fine with two but there was a part where I didn’t want to have to separate even momentarily because I was irrationally frightened 🥴

I loved the concept of the room. Puzzles are solvable even for a beginner. The story line and plot flowed very well in the room. If you’re not afraid of putting yourself in situations definitely nominate someone in your group beforehand before the clock runs out. Staff was amazing!
