Re-Opening this June at the Toronto Fringe Festival, 2026!  It's New Year’s Eve: December 31, 1926, and capers and thrills are afoot! Many Happy Returns is a group-based interactive, immersive performance with artifacts to find, intriguing guests to meet, and mysteries to unravel. 

Use teamwork to learn, plan, and manipulate the events of a swinging party to retrieve the 10 artifacts before your time travel abilities wear off! Will you succeed? Or will you find yourself in an endless loop in this race against the clock?!

Super fun unique experience. You are forced to work with the other escapees and it was awesome !  We all worked well together and recovered all the items needed to complete the mission !  The actors were always in character!

This was a great deal of fun! I’m grateful I got to experience it as part of the Toronto Fringe Festival.

The goal is to obtain artifacts from the characters by helping them fulfill their wishes, which you can only learn by interacting and chatting with them. Once a wish is fulfilled, the character gives you their artifact. Everyone works together collectively, so there is lots of chatter and plenty of ways to get involved.

The game takes place over an hour, structured as a time loop of five 10-minute rounds. This gives you the chance to learn more with each loop and change events as needed. The gameplay was fun and easy to pick up, and they did an excellent job of balancing the atmosphere and immersion with clear gameplay. Everyone was engaged and seemed to be having an excellent time.

The actresses were fantastic. They were great at staying in character and improvising around whatever was happening in the room. They engaged as many people as possible and did an excellent job of giving hints while remaining in character.

There are several smaller plot lines unfolding at once, so there is some replayability if you want to experience different interactions and see how other parts of the story play out.

As a large group of sober people (we played at 2:30 p.m.) we managed to collect nine out of 10 artifacts.

A great time. So much fun, interactive, and the concept and performers were exceptional. Highly recommended!

Very enjoyable, interesting experience! All the actors also did a great job and were very committed throughout the experience. We managed to find all the items at the last second and had a blast the entire time 😄
