The Hollywood Mystery: A Room Noir

Conundrum always does a fantastic job with game design, and Hollywood Noir was great as we've come to expect from Conundrum! This one was relatively easy compared to other rooms we've attempted, and it's the only Conundrum room I wouldn't recommend with a younger player since the final solution requires quite a bit of reading and word logic (rather than physical puzzles). That said, my husband and I loved it *without* our preschooler!

Did this escape room with my girlfriend. We had to get a few hints but did manage to escape. We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend.

Amazing escape room! We escaped in record time. And the puzzles were amazing. The staff treated us very nice, and our guide switched costumes 3 times before we even got into the room!! Props to these people, and the escape room.

what an awesome room!!! the storyline was incredible, clear, and easy to follow; it perfectly nailed the “hollywood noir” vibe! the puzzles were great and i felt like i was really collecting evidence and solving a mystery. it was a cute little set too! it’s a fairly easy room for seasoned escapers (but it’s still totally worth it!) but it feels like the perfect beginner room. the staff was also great! highly recommended this experience!

What an awesome little room. There are so many cute and clever gags and clues. Definitely a great beginner room! I cannot recommend the rooms and Conundrum more!! Everything is themed and the puzzles make logical sense and are just plain fun. Great all around!!

Great, classic, beginner escape room. Even if you’re more intermediate, I think it’s a lot of fun. Kind of what you’d imagine an escape room to be if you’ve never done one.

Liked the fact that it was also a murder mystery, thought that was creative. The murder mystery aspect /does/ have a straightforward clear answer, its not a wishy-washy answer that murder mysteries sometimes have. To be clear, it's a full escape room with a murder mystery aspect. There was one time we required a hint due to a physical aspect of the game play, but that might have been on us for not spotting it. Could have been in a bright lit area to be able to see it though. Overall, very fun and I recommend! Definitely on the easier side of things. Completed with 2 people in 40 minutes.

This room is cute, and definitely appropriate for beginners. You'll find a lot of locks and combinations in this room, which is may be detrimental to the originality. The story is particularly immersive, however.

Enjoyed this room overall. The theme was immersive. Had a glitch in the room which made it tough to know what was right or wrong, but the game master fixed it after we asked for help. Would recommend.
