Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express

The set was well done and puzzles were fine, but the game master made the game terrible. We struggled with the first puzzle which we ended up getting the answer to. However, with most all of the other puzzles we were just given the answer right when we got to the puzzle when we didn’t even request a clue. Either that or we would be told how to do a puzzle that we were already doing right like the game master wasn’t paying attention.

Storyline was not very cohesive and does not resolve in a satisfying way. Puzzles were fine, nothing was especially creative or impressively well made. We received nudges as we were finishing puzzles, and there were some issues with the room at the beginning, which was okay. We were able to accidentally open something we weren't supposed to, and were not stopped by a GM, which ended up ruining the flow of the game as well. I think we overlapped a shift change, which I'm sure didn't help. Overall, the game was fine, but for the price we expected better production quality, more high tech puzzles, and a GM that was more on top of their game.

The room itself was amazing, super fun logic puzzles. The game master was incredibly subpar. We believe the system was automated and no one was paying attention as we received hints for clues we had already solved. Had to exit the room to ask someone to actually give us a clue relevant to our progress which was frustrating.

This was my dream room & it exceeded all expectations. Perfection. No notes. Highly recommend!!

The staff at this location were great - we went opening week and they genuinely wanted to know how it went. The room had a few kinks to work through, including one puzzle that was brutally hard. But it was an enjoyable experience - we will be back!
