Arr, matey! Can you beat the sunset curse before it’s too late? Captain Goldbeard has spent years voyaging the seas in hopes of acquiring treasures beyond his wildest dreams. But one night, many moons ago, the Captain and his crew landed themselves in troubled water embarking on a quest where few others dare go, aboard an abandoned ship laden with treasure, known as ‘The Soul Catcher’. You only have one hour to break the curse before the sun sets beyond the horizon or you will be left prisoner aboard The Soul Catcher for eternity—and with no escape! Do you have what it takes to find the hidden treasure and beat the deadly sunset curse or will you become the next prisoner of The Soul Catcher?

Pirate’s Curse was a fun and solid escape room experience. As always, Escapology did a great job with the atmosphere and theme. The pirate setting was well done and helped pull us into the story right away. The puzzles matched the theme and made sense with the overall storyline, which I really appreciated. Nothing felt random or out of place, and the flow of the room was smooth from start to finish. Overall, Pirate’s Curse was a good room. It did not completely blow me away, but it was still enjoyable, well-themed, and definitely worth playing. A decent escape room with strong atmosphere and solid puzzle flow.

Loved the flow of this room and slightly linear game play. Love when you have to go back to original room to solve puzzles

This room was cute. Great decor and puzzles flowed well. This is a good beginner/kid friendly room. Only issue is, once again, a couple locks were already open and were not reset correctly. Also the very last puzzle needs some work calibration wise. We had the right answer but the magnet mechanism didn’t register it for a couple minutes until we started wiggling pieces to make it engage.
