The atmosphere and set makes you feel like you’re inside a science lab, and the theme is clear enough to pull you into the chemical warfare concept. The puzzles felt medium to hard, with a strong focus on observation and thinking a few steps deeper. This is definitely a room where you have to slow down, pay attention to details, and connect things carefully. That being said, this one personally didn’t click with me. I felt pretty slumped throughout the game and had a hard time figuring out most of the puzzles. We eventually managed to escape, but it took a while to get into the flow. I also felt like there could have been more puzzles overall, although that might just be because the existing puzzles took longer for me to work through. The room wasn’t bad, but the puzzle style just wasn’t for me. Overall, I’d rate Antidote: Chemical Warfare a 2/5. Good atmosphere, but the gameplay experience didn’t fully land for me.
