I’m going to echo the other reviews, this isn’t an escape room, it’s more of an adventure experience. Hate to say it but there is a reason why it’s leaving and being switched out for Stranger Things. I really enjoyed the story and some of the aspects, oh and the staff were fantastic. Honestly it felt like a 5Wits room but at least with 5Wits you can potentially lose the room and have to do it again, this felt very hand held at points to make sure you figured it out. The replay ability just isn’t there, for fans of the show it’s definitely a to-do while it’s still here. Also I hope when Stranger Things comes in, they figure out how to soundproof better in between the rooms. I heard other rooms bleeding into each other and found it distracting at time. It really takes you out of the story of the room. I really think Netflix can produce an actual escape room for Netflix House and truly makes it an escape room where you can win or lose. Plus you get a picture at the end which was a nice souvenir.

Played it in a preview. Somewhat interesting special effects, but honestly most local escape rooms have better effects. Not a real escape room experience either. Feels more like “here are some puzzles, complete them or not, we open the next doors in 10-15 minutes no matter what”

My friends wanted to like this more than Wednesday but it was just fine. Very cool lights and sounds but gameplay was repetitive at multiple steps. The ending was very big and had us running but the mech seemed broken until we fiddled with it. Our group of 6 was packed in with 6 others so 4 separate groups all working together. It did function well and forced communication but I would have rather played with just our group. I know many years ago escape rooms were public but everyone we have played is just our own group except for the escape game in the mall where we were joined for 1 game. The staff seemed to be starting groups every so often so maybe they are speeding up the process from 30 minutes between games. More escape room like than Wednesday but still not really puzzles. Netflix could better.

They tell you it's not an escape room and it's not. Having said that, its a walked through while watching adventure videos while you do a couple of tasks. High production buod out but that's where it ends. Not worth the value.
