Brimley Manor

Incredibly delightful and charming room. The set is incredible (as expected from Daydream) and story was a mix of ghostbusters/disneys haunted mansion sort of thing. Totally understand where people are saying one puzzle was unresponsive/delayed in response to a point where I still don’t really know what the solution is. GM said they turn on “easy mode” for pretty much everyone for that puzzle after a bit due to the “normal mode”, but that makes me think something is wrong with your normal mode…. Anyways with that being to the only issue we had, and all the delightful creative space, puzzles and characters that did exist, make me give it a heart. I still think the Botanica room edges out this one, but this is great as well.

Our team was befuddled by this one. And to be fair, most of us were pretty inexperienced escapers. In the end, I'm not sure we solved ANY of the puzzles, and if we did we're not sure how - pretty sure the GM took pity and just waved us on to each next stage. I want to like it, it looks amazing, the story rises above what seemed like a pretty tired theme, and there's lots of fun tech. But I'm not sure if some of it might have been unresponsive. Anyway, it was fun but not satisfying. And that might be our fault. I dunno.

This was a nice set as expected from this company. Very good service and nice staff as well. A very family, friendly room. I felt one puzzle may have been a bit glitchy which led to a delay. Difficulty level is relatively low and can be finished pretty quickly with experience escapers 7.6 /10
