Brimley Manor

Gorgeous Scooby Doo-style room with a beautiful palette, well-made props, and a fun mix of puzzles. A very spacious room with multiple areas and great use of sound and lighting to deliver the story. Though it has a "ghost" theme, it's not scary and is family-friendly. Some of the puzzles did take a beat to trigger, which caused a bit of confusion at times as we weren't sure if we had solved them correctly, but other than that this was a delight to play.

Rather than a terrifying horror room, this leans into a delightfully spooky, fun adventure where the goal isn't to bust the restless spirits, but to interact with and help them. The room features an impressive set with a surprising amount of space to explore as you work to uncover the spirit realm. While the physical build didn't have quite the same "wow" factor as the Botanica Greenhouse, it is still beautifully designed and highly engaging. The puzzles were fantastic and were a major highlight for us. There is a great variety of puzzle types that keep the gameplay fresh, and they flow perfectly with the room's narrative. We absolutely loved the whimsical storyline and the unique, lighthearted take on a haunted house. Overall, it is a fantastic room with solid puzzle design, and our team had an absolute blast from start to finish!

Daydream always has amazing rooms and you go in expecting a lot. They always deliver. This was a room where you were paranormal experts and had to find out why the ghosts are acting up. Strongly recommend its top tier. I do love their other room at this location more it’s absolutely mind blowing

The lighting and production in this room was the true winner! It felt like magic🪄 The puzzles were dialogue heavy, straightforward, and fun to solve! I will definitely continue to support this company as it’s clear a ton of effort goes into the rooms ! The customer service is also excellent.

Daydream Adventures always knocks it out of the park when it comes to their sets. Their signature style that we’ve come to know and love is very much present in this room. The puzzles themselves were relatively straightforward; there weren’t any layered solves. Great audio and visual feedback that let you know if you were solving a puzzle correctly. This room was narrative heavy. Parts of the narration guide you on to your next task. If you don’t hear it the first time, there is no way to replay it, so you may need to ask the game master to tell you the information that was missed. There were also some surfaces that were interactive that weren’t immediately clear to us. Aside from those extremely minor hiccups, we had oodles and oodles of fun! Played as a duo 👩🏽‍🐰‍👩🏻

Been to Daydream's Ice Cave and Dream Portal, and I recall not as intrigued by the game play. I find Brimley Manor showing huge improvement in the integration. Full and closed story line, all puzzles make sense, variety of style. Ofc Daydream always excels in arts and decoration, but this room is even bigger, more rooms, more elements. I personally didn't experience any tech glitch, so highly recommend!

9.5/10 Loved this room so much more than Botanica. Great room for families and kids between ages 8-13. I went with 4 kids and let them do it on their own and they did such a great job of figuring out all the puzzles!! It was tons of fun! The story telling was on point; (I was completely lost in the Botanica story line), I loved how they incorporated so many puzzles throughout the rooms, I loved the use of all the different rooms (going back and forth), fun lighting throughout, amazing use of technology and storyline. Puzzles were perfect difficulty for this age group and I loved how there was “feedback” if a puzzle was done out of sequence. Again, great for new and inexperienced escapers. Thank you to the game masters who kept watch and nudged us in the right direction throughout the game. We had no difficulty with any of the puzzles and all the technology worked amazing. Well done DayDream Adventures!!

Incredibly delightful and charming room. The set is incredible (as expected from Daydream) and story was a mix of ghostbusters/disneys haunted mansion sort of thing. Totally understand where people are saying one puzzle was unresponsive/delayed in response to a point where I still don’t really know what the solution is. GM said they turn on “easy mode” for pretty much everyone for that puzzle after a bit due to the “normal mode”, but that makes me think something is wrong with your normal mode…. Anyways with that being to the only issue we had, and all the delightful creative space, puzzles and characters that did exist, make me give it a heart. I still think the Botanica room edges out this one, but this is great as well.

Our team was befuddled by this one. And to be fair, most of us were pretty inexperienced escapers. In the end, I'm not sure we solved ANY of the puzzles, and if we did we're not sure how - pretty sure the GM took pity and just waved us on to each next stage. I want to like it, it looks amazing, the story rises above what seemed like a pretty tired theme, and there's lots of fun tech. But I'm not sure if some of it might have been unresponsive. Anyway, it was fun but not satisfying. And that might be our fault. I dunno.
