The Ring: Final Showdown

Unfortunately, I went into this room with very low expectations because of everything I’d heard, and this is one of those rooms that, unlike many new ones, I’d describe as a gem!! Just because we’re at the end of 2025 doesn’t necessarily mean that all rooms have to have out-of-this-world mechanisms, unique automations, and—at the very “worst”—two actors! Personally, as a player, I prefer padlocks over mechanisms, and I also love clever/combination and observation-based puzzles in concept, and this room nailed that perfectly!! Although it’s listed as an action room, I personally wouldn’t describe it that way, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a wonderful and very well-crafted room! While unfortunately I had heard the worst, I can say that this room is worth more than the money I paid, and it’s one of the rooms I can say is well worth the money—and then some!! I’m not one of the players who’ve had a chance to play the old The Ring, but at least the new one was one of the best rooms I’ve played in 2025, and I can’t understand why it’s so underrated by people!! The actress’s acting and body language were truly chilling, which made us shiver every moment we were in the room. The sets were simple yet carefully designed, without giving the impression that the space was empty or cluttered with unnecessary items just to fill it for no reason The puzzles were simple and straightforward, requiring mainly observation skills and good teamwork The GM did her job well, offering help exactly where it was needed without making the room feel stagnant or making us feel like we didn’t have time to think, which would have made the room seem boring! The room had fantastic jumps and surprises that made us both get excited and have an amazing time laughing with each other in our group! Once again, Exitus worked its magic and gave us a hidden gem that the world has overlooked (unfortunately)! Thank you so much for this experience, and we’ll see you at the next one!!🩷
