Saratoga School of Magic

Good room, amazing props, but the puzzles weren’t my favorite. More putting things in correct places than solving puzzles with logic which isn’t my preferred escape room style. We also often would do the correct thing and have no idea that something opened, and then second guess ourselves because we didn’t realize we were successful. The room was beautiful and very well upkept, and the staff were extremely friendly!

I always forget that some rooms can wind up in multiple places. I recognized the room the second I walked into it from one I had done in Connecticut. It had been a few years so it wasn't that I really remembered all that much. My husband was with me this time and we went through it together so it was still a great time. The setting and props are beautifully done and will off course remind you of a certain boy wizard who shall not be named. My only nitpick was the timing system. The GM starts the clock which activates the story to start. If my time is counting down I am going to start solving puzzles and looking around the room to call out locks to my partner. So, I didn't listen to a thing of the introduction. I had no remembrance of what we were looking for and was quite surprised when we finished. Ask for the story from the GM before you start so you don't waste your precious time listening to the automated voice. I look forward to seeing what they come up with next.

Loved everything. Absolutely no complaints and loved how immersive it was. We will absolutely be back for the other rooms!

High tech! Love the use of wands and “magic” throughout the room. Unique puzzles. Would definitely return to play another Saratoga Escape Room!
