Some of the puzzles were too easy we felt, especially the third room. The jump scare though was super fun, and the revelation of the scary thing had us yelling. One of the locks in the first room definitely needs replacing. The atmosphere and look was really cool. The GM was really nice and friendly. We’d like to maybe come back and do the zombie room which is supposed to be harder.
Sticky lock which we were warned about by the GM, took us several minutes to get it open with the correct answer. Third room was extremely easy to do, but had an interesting element which was really fun. Second room was fun with several puzzles but one we did “brute force” as we couldn’t find the easily determined answer.
Our GM was so great! I think her name was Brooke?

Puzzles were a mix of pretty basic and slightly challenging. Some could be guessed though through elimination process.

Lock in the opening room was difficult to open, but we were warned about it. It really does need replacing though as we struggled with it for several minutes.

I believe it was all on one level. No stairs. Don’t think there were uneven floors. One secret door might have to be adjusted wider to accommodate a chair. I don’t think there was anything that was crucial for hearing. Puzzles are very visual.

Creative and fun. The ages is showing on the room but it didn’t interfere with the game play. I loved the production value and attention to detail. This Maze Rooms and the one in west LA are terrific

Great room, fun puzzles. Challenging, and on theme. One lock was not working well and needed the game master to help, but they added time to compensate for it so it was ok in the end and I think they said they're going to fix it. Highly recommend if you are a puzzle seeking team

It was alright, the game master didn’t make it really fun, she just wanted (it seems like) to go home for the night. Overall the puzzles are complex and fun, we spent the most time in the 2nd room. 6/10
GM was rushing us out of the room, when we asked for hints she overshared and provided was too much. Also she said we were late by 10 mins but we were only 2-3 mins late. It just wasn’t very immersive with her. She just wanted to go home it seems like cuz there was no one after us.

Did this one a couple years ago, I remember it being extremely difficult and not even being able to get past the first room. Group was newer at escapes at the time though.

We had 2 people, one with a lot of escape experience and one with very little. Great atmosphere and immersion. Not a fan of horror or being scared myself and this room is basically free from that and mostly a thriller detective experience. Maybe 2 “scary” elements max. The focus on immersion sometimes led to confusion in linking puzzle elements or what to do next, and a couple too many red herrings for my taste. But some of the locks and boxes were vintage and had new mechanisms I hadn’t seen, which was great.
The focus on immersion sometime led to some confusion in linking puzzle elements or what to do next, and a couple too many red herrings for my taste. Led to more awe darn moments then aha moments.
Atmosphere and Immersion were top notch. Everything was themed, and the small bit of included special effects were well used.
