322 escape rooms
Rating: 3.5/5 - My favorite Escapology room so far, but there were many tech issues Pros: ➕Set quality is a step up from many other Escapology rooms with a great spooky atmosphere, though it still isn't quite as good as most The Escape Game rooms. ➕Ambient audio and lighting effects added to the immersion ➕Lots of tech, minimal use of padlocks ➕Multiple rooms to discover and explore ➕Some hidden secrets ➕Puzzles were mostly enjoyable and made sense, at least one interesting puzzle I haven't seen before. Nothing was annoying. ➕GM was friendly and responsive when needed Room for improvement: ➖Lots of tech minor issues, at least 4 things didn't work properly or were finicky. These issues were not game breaking though since the GM was helpful, she did come in to fix one thing. ➖Room is too dark and there is reading required, they only provide some dim fake candles for lighting. However, you can use your phone for lighting but that kills the atmosphere. ➖Some of the 3D printed props looked cheap, they needed to be finished/painted. Room is quite spooky but not very scary, one very minor jump scare. I'd recommend a team of 2-3 enthusiasts. My ranking of all Escapology rooms I've played (multiple locations) starting with my favorite: 1. Haunted House - 3.5/5 2. A Pirate's Curse - 3.5/5 3. Scooby-Doo - 3.5/5 4. Lost City - 3.5/5 5. Star Trek: Quantum Filament - 3/5 6. Budapest Express - 3/5 7. Th3 C0D3 - 3/5
