Good atmosphere, unique opening, but this experience is not for everyone. Takes "escape" room literally, but may be a detrimental to the flow of gameplay. Typical of Quest rooms, there are some social/verbal and/or physical role playing elements, which again may not be for everyone.
Opening was novel, but difficult. Felt like more time was budgeted for that, making the rest of it feel a bit rushed and lacking in content. Some of it felt like timesinks.
Set design was appropriately spooky, some props and elements definitely fit the theme.
AJ was great and was our GM for Warlocked months ago as well.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Have not seen this kind of (very) immersive opening before.
Plot was definitely not what was expected, but in a good way.
The puzzles themselves were not as hard as the way certain obstacles were supposed to be solved, which are atypical compared to most escape rooms from other companies.
Being a typical Quest room, there isn't an abundance of various puzzles to be solved separately. There may be points where someone doesn't really have much to do.
PG13. Spooky/creepy, some physical and visual discomfort may be involved.
Physically active
Somewhat
One obstacle relied very much on physical actions, though not strenuous.
Accessibility
Dim/dark lighting makes it hard to see in some areas, some spaces are narrow.
Street only. Had to walk a block or two.
