A great new, local start-up with promise. This room was was immersive with a lot of puzzles. Some of the tech didn't work correctly and at one point we were escorted out of the room so the GMs could work something to allow us to progress. However, we had fun overall. We recommend playing this room.

Gameplay

This room was not linear, and there is a good amount in it. Some of the puzzles were very clever and they all fit the theme. It flowed relatively well.

Atmosphere

The room is immersive as part of an archeological professor's office. Sets were supportive and there were some interesting effects.

Customer service

Excellent staff. We were enthusiastically welcomed, and were told they are working on more rooms at this location. Our GM was helpful especially when we ran into an equipment issue. They were on top of it quickly.

Particularly interesting or different

No

A good game overall.

Story

Everything was well integrated into the overall room.

Difficulty

Medium

Game tech

Mechanical

More mechanical but with some good tech added. The tech, however, was finicky at times which led to our having to suspend and exit the game to have it repaired/activated mid-game.

Ideal number of players

4

The space is tight. We were getting in each others' way at times with just four. Anything above six would not seem doable.

Scary

Not scary

Minimum age

10

The puzzles were a little more challenging, and required more finesse. The game didn't seem kid-proof.

Was anything broken?

Yes

At one point an item didn't operate the way that it was supposed to even though we solved the puzzle correctly. This required us to exit the room for a couple of minutes to allow the GM to come in (door closed) and move us along. This might have been a first for us.

Dedicated parking just outside the location.
