The Laboratory

This is clearly an older room, with some design choices that seem odd by modern standards (but were probably groundbreaking when they were built). It's still a fine game, but not one that stands out to me in the modern era. It's certainly interesting from a historical perspective, at least.

For a game built in 2015 this was insanely good lol

Super fun room! Although it is 11 years old, this is an excellent game. Basically an extremely well done version of an old school escape room. Loved all the lighting and sound cues that keep you on track and set the mood perfectly.

Not a bad room but too short and easy for experienced players. Recommended more for people not too familiar with escape rooms

Really enjoyed the Laboratory. Our wonderful GM said she had never seen such a calm group LOL. We needed a few nudges along the way and we were very glad to check this one off our list.

The Laboratory from Mama Bazooka was a great experience, played early in my escape room journey (within my first 50). We had a lot of fun, and while the atmosphere was intense, we didn’t find it scary and had a very nice spooky vibe. The puzzles have stood the test of time, remaining engaging and well-designed. We managed to finish without using any clues, which added to the satisfaction. Highly recommended for players of all experience levels—just keep in mind that it’s the oldest of the three rooms at this location.

We enjoyed this room. It’s a bit older and smaller than their other rooms but there are some good puzzles and a few surprises. The use of lighting cues in particular is really good, which you will need as the room is quite linear. It’s a small space so I would advise playing with 2 (max 3) and make sure you have good communication skills as you will need them. I would describe it as spooky rather than scary but it is definitely a mature theme (bad things happening to children) and there are some jump scare type moments.

Lovely room, their first one but still amazing. Sure it is something simple compared to other Dutch rooms but still a ton of fun. It was our first ‘horror’ themed room and they sure delivered on the scary factor. I especially liked how the staff showed us a video of our own gameplay afterwards and their enthusiasm overall. Will be back for their other rooms.

This was the first real horror room we did and it was definitely scary! The room has a great flow and scares that keep you on your toes. The puzzles can be a bit difficult if you haven’t done much rooms before. The lobby is amazing, we were a bit early and waiting there was very fun actually. Loved the fact that after the room we sat down and reviewed it and they showed us some highlights of our game
