A MILLION WAYS IN, ONE WAY OUT The year is 1955. You’ve been wrongfully accused of a crime, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Your new “home” is a cell that once belonged to an inmate who disappeared without a trace…or did he? Some claim he escaped. Others swear he was murdered by the infamously cruel warden. But no one actually knows… can you escape before you suffer the same fate?

Even though this is their "hardest" escape room, I personally think both The Heist and Special Ops are harder in terms of puzzle design. What makes Prison Break hard is how you need to strategize, but we sniffed out the trick early on. We got held up a bit because the moderator didn't hear a question we asked about something and there was one clue that was a bit of a stretch. Overall, a majority of the room made sense and who wouldn't have fun escaping a prison cell?

the set design is awesome and it’s super fun to be split up and have to work together. there were multiple props not reset correctly, but the strength of the room and the interactive puzzles made up for that

This room was good, but not my favorite at The Escape Game. Fair warning, this room was sequential. There were only 4 of us but sometimes there was a person standing around with nothing to do because only so many people could look at one puzzle at a time. One thing did not trigger for us and we had to call attention to it for the GM to trigger, but besides for that everything else was fine. Room was good, but didn’t super live up to the high expectations I have for The Escape Game.

Yes
Idk if it’s completely broken but one of our puzzles we completed didn’t trigger what it was supposed to and we had to ask the guy and then he manually put it down.

Accessibility
Dim lighting, someone will need to be able to go up a few stairs. There is an area to crawl but there is an accessibility door.

Fun time. It starts by breaking the group into two teams, so more fun with 4+ people. Good flow, good puzzles, stellar atmosphere as TEGs are known for. There is one area with crawling, but as long as a single member of the team can crawl, the rest of the team doesn't have to. Our game master gave us a few hints when we hadn't asked -- we suspect TEG wants everyone to escape -- but I think you could express your preferences re: hints at the beginning and they would be honored.

Roughly average The Escape Game room. We accidentally skipped a few puzzles by carefully observing the game space, but the GM quickly intervened and this didn’t interrupt game flow. Multiple rooms with varied themes/designs, which I enjoyed 4/5

Been wanting to do this one for a while! Loved starting in two different rooms (not a spoiler), it's a really nice concept that I think other games should incorporate more often. This was really fun and unexpectedly large. I don't know why it's level 9, I felt the puzzles were pretty fast to figure out but maybe I just had a good team. As always with The Escape Game though I can't stand that it is not a private experience. We luckily had no one else but I would absolutely hate having to do this room with a stranger. You're literally in a cell. Maybe they need the extra cash flow to maintain the *very* high quality rooms but man some rooms really just need to be private. Thanks Wendell for the great customer service ✌️

We had so much fun at this room! Most of the puzzles were fairly straightforward, and at the start of the game the group is split up into two cells, which is always a fun test of communication skills. Overall gameplay had a lot of fun elements, and the set design was interesting.
