Rating: 4/5 - Unique theme with a cool gimmick Pros: ➕Set looked good and was fairly immersive. Lots of custom builds and some special effects. ➕Puzzles were mostly likeable and fit the theme, seemed like there was a bit more variety than a lot of their other rooms. ➕Some tactile, physical inputs (instead of buttons) ➕Good use of audio ➕Almost all tech (buttons, screens, sensors, maglocks), no combo locks and just a couple of key locks but they were used where they made sense. ➕The room's gimmick was cool and well implemented ➕Multiple rooms to explore ➕GM was friendly and helpful when needed Could be better: ➖Some areas of the rooms felt a bit sparse, could've used a bit more detail to add to the immersion. ➖No animatronics or fun characters like many of 60 to Escapes other rooms, they have spoiled me 😅 I'd recommend 2-3 enthusiasts, we finished as a team of 2 with no hints. I love an unconventional theme, and “underwater casino” is one that I haven’t seen used elsewhere. I had pretty high expectations for this room considering that it received 5 Terpeca nominations last year, but I think “Pirate’s Curse” and “Invasion” are much stronger rooms. Some of the casino games are based around video screens, and this felt a little too similar to dive bar video gambling for my taste. They lacked the enjoyable tactile quality of the other 60 to Escape games. Also, one of the other casino games (involving a large wheel) had annoyingly finicky inputs that made it unnecessarily frustrating. A puzzle involving poker chips was pretty unique however, and offered a style of puzzling not often seen in escape games. There’s a very cool surprise at one point in the experience, but outside of that moment and the general theming of this room, it wouldn’t be my top recommendation. It’s got great set design, but most of the puzzles just aren’t particularly satisfying.

I really liked the surprises along the way. Solid puzzles that worked well. Theming was great and our host Bret made it even more fun! There is one more difficult puzzle - because when you do it on your own it’s easy to make little mistakes on the way. Recommend you stop and do it together as a team so you don’t have to do it over and over again.

Easily the best escape room I've done so far. Absolutely incredible atmosphere and effects, puzzles that were super on-theme, overall just a wonderful experience. If I had a complaint it'd be that a couple of the puzzles felt like they were designed to waste your time a little bit, but that didn't really hamper my enjoyment too much. Highly, highly, highly recommend, it is so absurdly well done.

This was a really fun room. The puzzles made sense and the props were cool. Probably our favorite at this location even though the sets in the other rooms are better than in here. We enjoyed the gameplay a lot.

A good game, with an interesting concept and story. Not quite as dynamic of puzzles as I come to expect from 60 to Escape but enough upbeats and fun moments to make up for it. Interesting mix of high tech stuff with very manual/analog elements as well.

Another great room from 60 to escape as I’ve come to expect from them!!! Unfortunately we weren’t able to escape this room. I don’t think it was overly difficult, but we overlooked some rather obvious elements we should have noticed, as happens from time to time in escape rooms. Not completing it didn’t change what a good time we had though. The room, like all the other 60 to escape rooms, has excellent design and interactivity. The theme works well too and is a nice twist on other casino rooms I’ve done. ***Not a spoiler but if you want to go in knowing nothing don’t read ahead*** Toward the end of this room there’s a small twist that is unbelievably well executed. Still not entirely sure how it was all pulled off but it made for a very memorable experience!!

One of the best casino rooms I’ve ever done and the set design was really cool too!

First time visiting 60 to Escape’s Milwaukee area location and we really liked Casino Heist. We visited the room after my son’s baseball game so we were a bit tired, and this was the perfect room for us. Game has a good flow to it with easier puzzles, which are more physical than mentally challenging. Set designs were great and lived up to the Woodfield and Gurnee location’s reputation, and there was also a good amount of tech in the room. This was an easier room that was a lot of fun to take your time with. Our GM (Elaina) was very friendly and attentive during our game, as she provided a nudge or 2 when we needed confirmation with a puzzle. You cannot go wrong with any of the 60 to Escape locations or games as they are all really well created and fun to experience.

This room I thought was ranked 4 out of the 5 rooms at this location. Puzzles were quite easy, but it was a good time. There was also this unique effect that is also used in their Lockbuster Video game in Schaumburg, that blows my mind every time I see it. Escaped with around 23 minutes left and used no hints as a group of 4
