511 escape rooms
My second-favorite Escapology room so far (Scooby-Doo is still number one). Good set and atmosphere, good effects, good puzzles. Recommended.
Gameplay
Excellent use of the space with a very clever backtracking puzzle. Mostly high tech for the clues and environmental effects but still a few physical locks. Linear but flows smoothly. Solid puzzle design with subtle but clear cluing.
Atmosphere
It feels like a haunted mansion (although the Scooby-Doo haunted mansion is arguably haunted-er). Doesnβt rely on video to deliver the plot though which I think is a plus for immersion.
Customer service
Host and GM were very friendly and helpful.
Particularly interesting or different
No
For Escapology, yes. In the grand scheme of escape rooms, no. But if this is the direction their new rooms are going then I think that is a great sign.
Story
Ghosts, curse, evil, one hour or you lose your sooooooooooul. You know the drill.
Difficulty
Medium
The only fiddly element was an object placement issue. One mechanical element was stuck but this did not impede gameplay.

Accessibility
Several small spaces that wouldnβt accommodate a wheelchair. You have to unlock locks at floor level and reach into various holes in the wall. One puzzle depends entirely on audio clues. There is a crawlspace but nobody has to go through it (at least at this location) as there is also a normal door option.
