303 escape rooms
Escapology has always been a mixed bag for me. It seems like such a good room for the longest time and then something always hits wrong and, while it doesn't completely ruin the experience, it taints it so I can't say it's an amazing room. Antidote, for the most part, was a really solid room, but in a handful of incidents I just wanted to shake something and ask "Why?". The set was very impressive. The rooms were all decorated with a nice mix of practical and decorative pieces that really have you a nice immersion. Usually in Escapology rooms you feel like they ran out of money before they finished the final room but, in this case, they kept the immersion for the end of the game as well. Puzzles were a mixed bag. I enjoyed most of the puzzles but this is where I feel they slipped. One puzzle has an obvious answer but you're given several props that are only there to help you solve the puzzle. We spent the rest of the game trying to figure out where to use them. The second puzzle was more frustrating. For example, if I said you'll get the answer if you put them in order from 1 to 5, but then only give you four things to put in order, would that frustrate you or would you just let it go. Perhaps in just too pretty for my own good. There was more irksome puzzle but I'll just leave it as saying it wasn't my cup of tea. The new game hosts and game masters were all excellent and I enjoyed my time with the group.

Mixed bag. The hosts treated us all very well but the owner made us feel we had something wrong and were unwanted.
