The newspapers say it was an accident. A fire destroyed Nikola Tesla’s laboratory, and all evidence was lost. But that’s not the whole story. On the night before the fire, secret experiments were still running. Documents vanished. No witnesses remained. And some believe Nikola Tesla knew the fire was coming… or caused it himself. You arrive at the laboratory just hour before it burns. Discover what really happened inside Tesla’s lab before the truth disappears in flames.

Overall, I liked Tesla. 4 seems to be the best group size. The hint system is the GM walking into the room, which breaks immersion. I enjoyed some of the mechanical elements, but not so much the brute-force or button-pushing puzzles. The set looked nice, leading to some great team photos. I appreciated the unique doors, making fun transitions, but then you are forced to go back to the start for an audio clip. It breaks the flow significantly. It is worth a play, especially with the reasonable price point.

Staff is nice, but nobody runs the front desk (ring a bell), and they don't walk you out when you are done. A bit odd

29 escape rooms

A well done room, though more than 3 people may be limited by how sequential the puzzles tend to be. Atmospheric and very immersive. Production values and craftsmanship are very high. Two puzzles were frustrating - one didn't seem to have a point and the other seemed a guessing game through 81 possibilities. Overall enjoyed it immensely despite significant frustration with 2nd to last puzzle.

Gameplay

Great puzzles, however one seemed to have no point and another was effectively guessing or walking through 81 possible combos.

Atmosphere

Immersive, excellent craftsmanship and well done!

Customer service

Friendly and welcoming GM.

Story

Very well integrated into the theme.
