The Depths

I liked The Depths… but I don’t think it’s amongst the best that The Escape Game has to offer. At TEG you always can count on solid puzzles, and this room is no exception. The puzzles ramp up nicely from simple to more complex and multi -step towards the end of the game, and all of them were fun. Many puzzles demanded good communication. The finale sequence was exciting, even though the stakes of “failing” were a little unclear. The set design is still good but was nowhere near as exciting and fun to explore as some of TEG’s other rooms like gold rush, playground or special ops.

This escape room was great for intermediate to beginners. The puzzles were self explanatory and gave you a check list through the way. It was a lot of fun though and had some steps that threw us off.

I usually stray away from chain escape room companies because they can feel a bit like a cash grab with not a lot of care and attention taken into designing and maintaining the rooms. This is NOT the case here!! This was such a fun room and was really well put together. There were no puzzles I would have described as a “stretch” of logic, which is my biggest pet peeve in rooms. We had a lovely GM and an overall fantastic experience!

Really good room! Had a lot of fun! I really enjoyed the different feel of this room. Definitely a great room for people just starting out in the escape room world! Overall, very strong room and lots of fun!

The room design and puzzles were by far my favorite! Abigail and Blue were also absolutely amazing and super friendly and made jokes with us after gameplay and watching us!

I didn’t give this room enough credit beforehand. It was a lot of fun in the end and we really enjoyed the puzzles! TEG always delivers us a great experience!

The Depths is another solid game from The Escape Game! We've started seeing more submarine themes in the last few years & this one was great. The sub was nicely designed as well. Much appreciation for the fact that the "room after the sub" was as good (if not better) than the sub itself. Too many rooms do the opposite (or worse, no room outside of the sub). There's some nice twists to the story & a few unique puzzles as well. Definitely worth doing this game.

Talk about skin of our teeth! 1:22 left on the clock! The Depths was awesome! You need lots of communication and there are lots of "in depth" (ba dum tuss) puzzles. There are 3 separate rooms within this escape room. There are great visuals and awesome puzzles. Only number locks and key locks. Ryan was the best game master of all time, such great energy and just a chill dude. Will come back again!

Great room for beginners, lots to do and collaborate on. Very linear but all the puzzles and locks made sense and blended into the setting super well. Was a charming story and lots of little easter eggs sprinkled throughout the area.
