Gorgeous reproductions by Degas, Renoir, van Gogh, and Seurat. But you're allowed - and encouraged - to run your hands all over them, tug on their frames, and even try to steal a painting! The Heist escape room boasts an impressive recreation of a museum, complete with high-tech puzzles that seamlessly blend into the environment. Teamwork is key, as the initial puzzles require a linear approach and can be challenging. With the help of the friendly game master, we managed to escape just in time. Above and beyond customer service from the manager working the front desk. We mentioned we had done two rooms in another one of their locations, and she presented us with a The Escape Game Passport. We’ve subsequently carried it with us to another of their locations, and have used it to plan some future escape room centric vacations. Note that The Escape Game offers buy 3 get one free sales a few times a year around holidays, so if you're planning on doing multiple rooms or having multiple players in the future, it's worth trying to catch a sale from them.

Wasn't bad but wasn't great either. I remember it being challenging but other than that it wasn't too special...middle of the road in my opinion especially compaired to the other games that they offer.

Of the four rooms at the KOP location, I think this was our least favorite, but only because the theme seemed duller than the other three. The ambiance only suffers from the fact that most museums have plain white walls, so there isn't too much vibrancy in the decor. The puzzles remain the same caliber of difficulty as other rooms at the Escape Game. It all feels very authentic, and you do really feel like a thief attempting a heist! Always a fun time.

Beautiful rooms!! We were 3 adults and 3 kids and we struggled with some of the puzzles and broke our "no hint" rule for sure. The puzzle master struggled to provide relevant hints.

Good room with a unique feel and an interesting premise. I was plseatnly surprised that as we moved from room to room the theme changed, but felt totally in sync with the story. I highly reccomend!

This was a pretty solid game, and we go go do it with some total strangers! I miss the days we could work with others becuase we got paired up with some amazing people. The puzzles were fun and challenging, but many hands made light work. I would actually make one suggestion to the company, cap this room at 6 people. Eight made the place feel tight!

I would not suggest it for disable players. It feels tight and cluttered.

This room can be deceiving - on first glance there appears to be not much, but there’s so much going on. Once you’re able to orient and think the way the game wants you to, you’ll be amazed and surprised at the tricks in store for you. Never underestimate your surroundings!

This game was a true hidden gem. Multiple rooms and the first room you are out in is relatively bare it was underwhelming at first but quickly unraveled to reveal rooms upon rooms of puzzles with decoding skills, looking for patterns, and teamwork.

We had far too many people for this room. We had maybe 8 players and it was just too crowded in our opinion. The room itself was fun and despite being a sort of generic theme it was done well and kept us on our toes. I feel like this is one of the rooms you have to have some knowledge of proper decoding and different ciphers going into simply because it will help piece things together a bit better. The puzzles really fluctuated for us as there were some we absolutely were amazed with and some that felt slightly over done. The game was still enticing but overall I think our fault was that it was too crowded and too linear for such a big group. I would probably recommend no more than 5 or 6 at most.

A great interpretation of a pretty generic theme. Puzzles flowed really well, and tied in well to the theme. Worked well for 2 but at least one other player would have been helpful.
