As a team of scientists working in a secret government testing facility, you have been tasked to investigate the abandoned laboratory of Dr Walter Brandt. Dr Brandt was a highly ranked chemical weapons specialist, until his rogue behaviors and plans to conduct chemical warfare using man-made viruses led him to be a global threat. What was supposed to be a controlled mission has become disastrous and time sensitive after one of the investigators sends vials of the contagious virus crashing to the ground, sending plumes of deadly vapor into the air. You now have one hour to crack the clues in Dr Brandt’s laboratory and locate the only known antidote which is the only chance of saving yourselves, and the rest of the world.

This game was pretty average puzzle wise. The way we were treated by staff made it way worse.

Gameplay

Very classic escapology. Not in the good way.

Doors were left open before we entered, which that happens! Totally understand! Then there was a lock left solved and unlocked, my partner had to lock and scramble it. We were given a clue asking if we had found a game piece yet, we hadn’t, so our game master CAME IN TO THE ROOM AND WALKED US THROUGH A PUZZLE. We didn’t need that. Or want that. Then the thing with the antidote inside of it was LEFT OPEN! We closed it, and solved the game. We were about to put the antidote where we were supposed to when a different game master comes in and said we did it. Our timer was still going. Insane.

Several puzzles non functional or unreadable. Not that much to actually do, spent most of the time trying to read certain elements. Hints told us what we already had figured out but not how to apply what we knew to the poorly worded puzzles. Overall worst room we’ve seen in a professional setting.
