We visited this ER on our annual birthday trip to Costa Rica. The Game Master/Owner was super nice to talk to. Offered in English. We enjoyed it very much. We took a few hints but...made it.

What began as a mischievous visit to an old mental asylum turns into a fight for survival. The idea was simple: visit the abandoned building and take pictures. But the first sign of something strange was when their phones stopped working as they approached the building. The second indication of danger was when they noticed that the building was not so abandoned; there was electricity, cameras, and recently installed security systems. But the third indication that things were really bad was when one of you disappeared... The good news is they managed to find him by following the cries for help coming from an isolation cell. The bad news is they now have to figure out how to free him and escape before everyone becomes a prisoner of the Asylum.

Really cool venue - only one room but part of a board game cafe. The website is all in Spanish but the game worked perfectly for us in English. It’s also clear they customized the game to our number of players, which was a nice touch. I do recommend making sure you have a good player in the initial lockup and I don’t recommend 2 - we did 2 and it was a little cramped.
