Thirty years ago, the wealthy and well-loved Mabel Shockley was found dead beside her husband’s family mausoleum on the night of his burial. The case was ruled an accident after mourners claimed she had become distraught, wandered the cemetery alone, and fallen. But rumors never stopped. One detective tried to reopen the investigation, but before he could make an arrest, he vanished. Now, the cemetery is being prepared for demolition and restoration, and your team has been granted one final hour inside the cemetery before everything is sealed and archived. Hidden among the crypts, memorial objects, and the detective’s forgotten evidence are the clues he left behind. If you can identify the killer, the truth can finally come to light. Solve the case before the mausoleum is sealed for good and the killer escapes justice.

Our group became confused a couple times by what was painted on the walls. We were trying to use things as clues that had nothing to do with any puzzle.

Gameplay

It is evident that a lot of love went into building this experience. This homemade room gives you enough setting to let you know where you are. It’s not as immersive as many others I’ve played

A solid murder mystery room with a spooky factor! The puzzles are solid, the flow is clear, and one puzzle had a very clever use of directions that I’d never seen before. There were a few miscommunication issues, particularly with the darkness and light switches. And it was also not super clear how we were supposed to input the final puzzle, but once the GM told us, we triggered the finale. The set was neat and seemed made with love. The GM also was willing to hear our feedback about the room, and it’s nice to be heard. This room was only about 2 weeks old when we did it, and according to the GM, we were the 1st to escape! So I’m glad that our feedback could be worth something and hope that it makes this cold case crypt even cooler!
