Legends of the Lost Temple

We loved this room. The theming was unique and not cookie cutter. We met the owner and she was very friendly and you could tell this was her passion. We are looking forward to the other rooms!

It's always a delight to meet owners who are also enthusiasts. You can tell they love their work and they pour their hearts and souls into their rooms. After a great conversation in the lobby, we were led into the hallway and given our backstory. We made the mistake of turning our back to our GM and POOF she disappeared and left us to our task. The first puzzle was finding our way into the room and it set the tone for the rest of the adventure. The plot of the game was your standard adventure fare but done with a great attention to detail. I felt like we were in an episode of Indiana Jones. The set was amazing and all of the set pieces and props had a fine attention to detail. The puzzles were well thought out and fun. I thought that were just hard enough to make us struggle but never made it feel impossible. This was an amazing room and really can't wait to see what they come up with for their third room.

This room challenges you right away. Very cool challenges along the way. Can’t wait to do another one at this location!

7.4/10 Legends of the Lost Temple is another strong addition to Escape from Reality’s lineup! This room does an excellent job building a temple/jungle atmosphere and the deeper you go, the darker and more immersive it feels, exactly what you’d expect from an expedition like this. It’s a well-paced linear experience with smooth puzzle flow and very few mechanical locks. The puzzles integrate beautifully with the hidden-temple theme. Our only real critique is that we wanted more. More space to explore and more puzzles to solve in each section. It felt like it ended just as we were fully locked in. We had Whitney as our Game Master again, and her energy is what made our overall experience even more enjoyable. We’re excited to see what they build next!

Without giving anything away, this room starts in a fun & unique way before you even enter the room. "Fun & unique" continued throughout our experience of both rooms at this site. The set design is beautiful and immersive. The puzzles are fun. There are few actual locks, mostly tech which is fun. We only had an issue with 1 thing, where it was unclear what to use. The owner immediately brainstormed with us after the game on ways to cue it better, so I'm sure that puzzle will run more smoothly in the future. Speaking of the owner, she was absolutely wonderful & made our visit memorable. She bubbled over with excitement about escape rooms & that's how it should be. You can tell that love & excitement went into building both of their current games. We got a sneak peek at the 3rd room they are building & I have no doubt that one will be just as good
