Following the law and saving your life is in your hands. An old school friend, Lewis Salinger, has tracked you all down through Facebook and invites you on a holiday of a lifetime. Upon arrival at your destination, though, Lewis explains the purpose of your trip: Promising enormous wealth, he wants you to return to the US with some briefcases he has packed for you. The high-security section of the mansion is designed to keep people in, but if you don’t escape you know you run the risk of becoming part of a dangerous drug cartel and could face a life behind bars if caught. You soon realize there’s enough evidence to capture the drug lord. Can you act quickly to gather evidence and escape the mansion?

We did this room as a team of 3. We were greeted warmly by the starting staff who chatted amicably about various things but taking us back to the room. We then learned she would not be our game master and instead a different person who we had not met would be running our game and he was also running 4 others. This seemed like a bad setup and pulled the GM in too many directions. The room itself was in good shape. Nothing was broken. For the most part, the game flowed reasonably well. The puzzles were very linear so it's highly encouraged to keep the group soze down. I had two major complaints about the room. First there were multiple puzzles in the room that were highly unintuitive and really made the game feel like clues were a must. The second was the GM have clues that were too specific. I prefer the GM to give nudges when asked and not just the entire solution. I would like to figure it out but just help get me going. Though not for one of the puzzles. That one just needs to be told the answer since it's so unintuitive. Overall the room is on par with many of the escape rooms across Houston, but the price is higher so I would recommend doing others instead of this one.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We’re glad to hear you were welcomed warmly, found the room to be well maintained, and enjoyed the overall flow of the game. We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback regarding both the puzzles and the hint system. Our goal is for hints to provide just enough guidance to keep teams moving while still allowing them to experience the satisfaction of solving the puzzles themselves. It sounds like we missed that balance during your visit, and we'll use your comments as a coaching opportunity with our team. Regarding staffing, we understand your concern. While our game masters are trained to monitor multiple rooms at once, we never want guests to feel like their experience is compromised because of it. Your feedback is valuable and will be shared with our management team as we continue looking for ways to improve the guest experience. We sincerely appreciate your candid review and hope you'll give us another opportunity in the future. We'd love the chance to provide you with an experience that exceeds your expectations. — Jeff Hartsell 📞 (337) 552-4641 | ✉️ [email protected]

We did this game and although it was decent there are better narco inspired games out there. With that said this still had an Escapology feel. There were a couple puzzles in the room that I said out loud “how would we know that applied to that” after we were done management came in and agreed but because this place is a franchise there can’t be much done to change the puzzles. As always with Escapology, the staff was good. One of the guys that works there said he actually was not into escape rooms and is only there for a paycheck. That rubbed us the wrong way. Even though he was cordial and nice, how are you as a game master, host supposed to connect with your players if you don’t care for your product. But the room was okay. Tech worked, some of the props were lost in translation a bit and could have been used better.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the overall Escapology experience and that our team made a positive impression during your visit. We also appreciate your candid feedback about Narco. We understand how frustrating it can be when a puzzle’s logic isn’t as intuitive as it should be, and while some elements are standardized across our franchise, we still take comments like yours seriously and share them with our corporate team to help improve future iterations. I’m also sorry to hear about your interaction with one of our team members. While we appreciate honesty, every guest deserves to be welcomed by someone who is enthusiastic about creating a memorable experience. I’ll be addressing that feedback with our team, as our goal is for every game master to be fully engaged and excited to help guests have a great time. Thank you again for your feedback. We truly appreciate your visit and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with an even better experience next time. — Jeff Hartsell 📞 (337) 552-4641 | ✉️ [email protected]
