As a disclaimer, I don't generally love horror. Having said that, I thought Ensayo 2 had a unusual and effective premise but mixed execution. I thought the lights were blinking (not even flickering) more than necessary, and was more annoyed at them than spooked. Some triggers felt late - we would do something, then nothing would immediately happen, which caused confusion. Minor nitpicks: Some signs did not have immediately nearby obvious English translations, though these were pretty clearly for atmosphere and not critical to understand. Like many games in Spain, I thought announcements were difficult to understand due to a combination of not dropping music levels when speaking + GM's accent + tinny speakers.

A big step up from Ensayo 1 for me, though the execution and polish still wasn't fully there to support the more ambitious storytelling and unique flow. A few elements and inputs were broken or finicky during our playthrough, leaving us periodically confused whether we'd done the right thing. Nevertheless, there was a steady crescendo of psychological horror and some beautiful actor moments throughout. Ensayo 1 offers some half-decent narrative payoff in 2, but for me, it wouldn't be worth playing 1 just for that, whereas as 2 is still strongly worth playing despite some of its rough edges.
