This was a bank heist-themed escape room, but unfortunately, I left extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing really stood out or made the bank heist theme feel exciting, memorable, or immersive. The flow had a few decent moments, but some of the puzzles were very frustrating. A couple of them gave me a hard time because the wording or phrasing just did not click with me. I don’t mind a difficult room, and I’m completely fine with being challenged, but this felt less like a fun challenge and more like being stuck without meaningful direction. What really hurt the experience the most was the hinting during our game. The GM’s nudges did not feel helpful and mostly pointed us toward things we already knew. In my opinion, players should not be left struggling for so long that the game becomes frustrating and unenjoyable, especially when they are paying to experience the full room. Every group should feel like they have a fair chance to escape and enjoy the game from beginning to end. We ended up spending about 15–20 minutes stuck on one puzzle, then another 15 minutes on a different puzzle that, in my opinion, did not even feel like it belonged in a bank heist room. That part really pulled me out of the experience. I feel like they could have used something more fitting to the theme, especially since some of their other games had puzzle ideas that felt more connected and immersive. The funny thing is, this was not even their hardest room. My partner and I were able to escape one of their harder rooms with a different GM, which made this experience even more disappointing. It really showed how much a GM and the quality of the hints can affect the overall game. Sadly, we did not escape, and since this was our last game at this location, it left a really bad final impression. Instead of leaving excited or satisfied, we left frustrated and disappointed. Overall, this room was a big letdown for me. 1/5.
