On the edge of town stands a building the locals avoid. Years ago, it housed dozens of children. Until one night, they all vanished. Some say the headmaster had a dark secret, but nobody knows for sure. You entered expecting only dusty rooms and broken furniture. But you quickly realised something was very wrong…

Room got off to a fantastic start, but really fizzled out towards the end… the story took a turn that just didn’t make sense, and took away from the experience. Was a pretty dark room at parts, making one of the puzzles pretty hard. Some great theatrical effects… made my jaw drop at one moment but wasn’t particularly scary.

Starts strong, but weakens as game goes on. Not super scary, a little spooky but mainly at the start. A few issues with the lighting, too dark in areas, but well dressed. Not a super clear narrative either, but good physical puzzles.

This was a really immersive and eerie experience that we ended up making 2nd on the leaderboard for! There were some good scares, and the set had us on edge. The only issue for this room is that the storyline loses its strength towards the end in my opinion, as it doesn’t continue with the orphanage theme. Another thing is that one of our audio clues didn’t play, which ended up adding extra time while we couldn’t continue. Overall a really fun experience, and definitely spooked us.

The storyline started off really good, however, towards the end of the room I found that it loses that eerie atmosphere a little bit. The story at the beginning with the orphanage theming is unsettling, and it doesn’t continue with that vibe which ruins the room a little.

An audio clue didn’t play for us and we were looking around for like 5 minutes until the gamemaster told us what the clue was, but added to our time at the end
