The Seals of Midnight

Such a unique idea for an escape room! You are forced to think, problem solve, and communicate differently than any other experience. A must play if you have a lot of escape rooms under your belt. You'll see things in a whole new light. Which is to say, none.

The room was completely in the dark. If that sounds like something that would bother you, then this room isn’t for you. If you’re OK being in complete darkness the whole time, I would definitely give this room a shot. It’s innovative and there’s enough to do. Between the darkness and the spooky sounds, it definitely stopped us from freely exploring the room out of fear. But once you get accustomed to the darkness and make your mental map of the room, it’s really quite fun. You’re not going to get the usual top-notch immersive experience you’ve come to expect from Sherlock. Because, well, it’s in the dark. But I think that this is worth checking off your escape room list from a company that has earned my Trust. Not to mention it’s always worth a visit to the guild hall!

our royal wizard was such a great host and helpful when we were confused. it was our first time in an escape room that is completely in the dark but it was such a great experience even though we were creeped out at first just adjusting to the complete darkness.

PITCH. BLACK. It’s not just dim in there. Expect to feel around blindly for the puzzle elements. All the puzzles are straightforward once you find all the elements, yet still very satisfying to complete. Ben was an excellent game wizard, friendly and talkative both before and after, and downright terrifying inside the room, until we asked him to stop. I definitely started hallucinating walls before the end and apparently that’s a thing that happens in total darkness. So be ready for that, it’s not part of the puzzle 😬

This was such a fun room!! What a great concept - TOTAL darkness. Kenzie was a great game master and the spook level was perfect!! Highly recommend
