87 escape rooms

This room was fun! I really liked how they used light to show which places in the room you should be paying attention to. Have never seen that before. Puzzles were fun and flowed well. Despite the small size of the room, 4 of us felt like we were always doing something the whole time. The Decode locations continue to have excellent rooms, and ai highly recommend them!

Most of the puzzles flowed well for our group, but the colored pipes puzzle was rough, and we ended up forcing it. We probably would have solved it eventually, considering we had 10 minutes left.

130 escape rooms

This was a very well themed and generally fun room. Having done a lot of other escape rooms, the way this room seems to work was confusing, which made it hard for us to tell if we were doing well or if we were running out of time. It's pretty high tech and multi-linear, probably best with 4 people.

Gameplay

This is a different kind of room where you have a (unspecified) amount of time to complete a number of multi-linear puzzles, and your success with that seems to determine your time / difficulty of puzzles in the second part. While our game master insisted that we did great and completed the room well, it was less clear as a player.

Atmosphere

The game was well themed. The game master was in character. Doing the puzzles felt like it fit with the theme.

The multi-linear puzzles allow for groups to split up and work on many tasks. If someone gets stuck, it seems helpful to have some additional folks to help work out the solution.
