I loved the first half of the experience more than anything else at the lodge so far. The second half was definitely much more difficult and our group was not totally sure we were correct as we wrapped things up (even though we apparently were). Definitely a very different experience, but an excellent one for people who like a challenge!

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

One of the early puzzles was my favorite puzzle in the lodge so far. Also the whodunnit nature felt unique

Story

I love the lore this adds to the lodge

Difficulty

Hard

The deduction was tough. There was also just a lot to process all at once.

Much more logic-forward than the other Lazarus experiences, with a whole 'Pepe Silvia' board to peruse in the search for answers. Will not spoil how the room is revealed, but it is VERY cool! It uses a piece of the lodge that has been so unassuming for the last several years.

Gameplay

Logic and deduction aren't my personal strong suits, but I still really enjoyed this room. I'd estimate it's about a quarter tacticle puzzles, with the rest being more piecing things together based off of what you learn.

Atmosphere

COOL! Lazarus always KILLS it when it comes to their room designs. The experience uses a bit of the 'roam the halls' integration with the main room.

Customer service

The GMs know our faces and names by now lol

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

The reveal to where the room is was so much fun to discover!

Story

The plot of this room adds so much more lore to the lodge overall. If you've played the other rooms, or at least The Initiation, you'll have an even greater appreciation for the lodge's emmersive storyline.

Difficulty

Medium

It's easier with a group of people who are more 'logically brained'. If I were with a group who also doesn't have that as a strong suit, it'd feel much, much harder. I'll admit, my brain tends to turn off when needing to solve a problem 'on paper' as opposed to fiddling with things to find an answer!

Game tech

High tech

This is the most/only tech-heavy room at Lazarus. You use a computer, monitors, buttons, and recording equipment.

Ideal number of players

We played it with three, but four would be the ideal I think.

Was anything broken?

Yes

The computer in there was being a little fussy towards the end, so our GM helped us out with 'entering' the final elements. Didn't ruin or progress or gameplay in ant way.

I had a love hate relationship with this room. I absolutely loved the design and the first couple of puzzles however I’m not the biggest fan of deduction puzzles/who done it. Lazarus Crowe truly seems to have a room for just about anyone. I would say this was the hardest room of all of them in my opinion
