The Story of the Heart of Atlantis You find yourself in the midst of the steampunk era, surrounded by a labyrinth of copper pipes and steam. You have been summoned for a mission that no one is supposed to know about. An eccentric inventor claims to have discovered a route to a place that has been considered nothing more than a myth for centuries. Atlantis exists—and at its heart pulses a source of energy powerful enough to change everything. The question is: Will you find it … before someone else does? Your journey begins aboard a one-of-a-kind submarine. The metal walls vibrate with every movement of the hull, valves hiss under mounting pressure, and the needles on the instruments swing faster and faster, as though counting down the time. Beyond the portholes stretches an endless darkness, where something moves just beyond the reach of the light. Here, the ocean is not merely a backdrop—it reacts, watches, and seems to respond to your every movement. Every decision matters. Every choice could bring you closer to the discovery … or bury your chances of ever returning. The descent into the depths is only the beginning. The real challenge begins when you can no longer be sure whether you are still in control.

This room was still rather new when we played it. The set is stunning and you can tell that a lot of love and creativity went into the design and the story arc. However it didn’t feel completely rounded (yet) and the flow was interrupted at some points by lengthy puzzles or some technical issues that occurred (e.g. a speaker that was to quiet against rather loud background noise; some lights didn’t stop flashing when they were supposed to etc.) There are relatively long pre-recorded story audio sequences in between which felt a bit too extensive at times. Nevertheless the room with its decor and theme has a lot of potential and I am sure they can refine it into an excellent experience with some changes here and there. I am looking forward to reading the reviews in a couple of months to see if they improved with some tweaks.

This is a brand-new room in Poznań. We had heard from other players that it experienced a few teething problems during its first weeks, but it seems to have improved considerably, as we had a great time overall. That said, there is still some room for further refinement. The room is beautifully designed and places a strong emphasis on immersion. Most of the puzzles are meaningfully integrated into the story and actively move the narrative forward rather than feeling like disconnected obstacles. However, some of the longer puzzles do not fit particularly well into the more fast-paced sections of the game. This occasionally weakens the gameplay experience and disrupts the overall flow. In our opinion, a few puzzles also lacked sufficient in-game clues to be solved intuitively without additional audio hints. Nevertheless, the game is visually stunning and mechanically extremely impressive. Despite its remaining areas for improvement, it is definitely a must-play.
