100 escape rooms
We escaped Room 172 with just 2:03 left on the clock, so it definitely kept us challenged right to the end. The room has a lot of potential, but a few missing essentials held back the immersion and the overall experience. The biggest issue was flow. It wasn't always clear where to go next or which puzzles connected, which led to stretches of second-guessing instead of momentum. The room also lacked a note-taking tool like a Boogie Board, so we had to rely on outside tools that pulled us out of the experience. It's a small addition, but it makes a real difference in keeping players in the world of the game. On the positive side, our game master was present and attentive throughout. With some tweaks to the puzzle flow, clearer progression cues, and a few in-world tools for players, Room 172 could easily go from good to great. Worth playing, and I'd be curious to come back after updates.
