Rugrats: Search For The Losted Toys

We absolutely loved doing the Rugrats room! From the moment you enter, you’re immediately hit with nostalgia. There were so many nice touches and fun surprises along the way. And what happens with the end puzzle was totally unexpected and I loved the way it finished! I would def recommend this to any Rugrats fan!

This was such a cute room - so glad we were in town during it's run.

This room was good, but something that we didn’t realize going in was that it was essentially just a reworked version of their Playground room. A lot of the puzzles were the same and since many of us had already done playground, it wasn’t a great experience. However I’m still giving it a positive rating because without that prior knowledge, it would’ve been a great room.

Great escape game for 90s kids, loved the immersion and theming!

This was a great game overall and while it isn’t necessarily hard, I would recommend trying to get a large group of people to come with you because there is just a lot of stuff to solve throughout all the rooms. This is great thought for anyone whether you have seen rugrats or not.

This was my first escape room- the one that started it all- and it was very nostalgic & cute! The decor was very applicable to the overall theme- some of the props looked like they came right out of the show which was exactly what I was hoping for, many references from the show were used in the rooms and some of the puzzles helped you feel like you were one of the babies! We had quite a large group because it was a public game, so there were a lot of different intelligences & personalities working on the puzzles but overall everything flowed well from room to room. The puzzles were also very interactive and there was quite a variety- sorting things, some things were hidden that require you to search the room & some to find patterns, some had to be ‘put together’ (I’m trying not to spoil anything), and some required more of a Co-op approach to accomplish a certain goal which I thought was very clever, etc. * It wasn’t very physically demanding but of note, there were some incidences where you would have to be able to crawl and climb on things.* I’m sure the staff alerts groups about this as well. Overall, I’ve done about 18 other escape rooms since I’ve done this one and looking back on it, it was still very well done and fun! I would also say that this is an easier room as well, I’m glad I started with this one! I would definitely recommend trying this, especially if you’re a Rugrats fan!

This was a great example of reusing a game for another purpose - you can see the bones of the normal adventure (Playground) underneath, but it really feels like an unique adventure that stands up under its own merit.

Amazing room! You don’t need to be a Rugrats fan to play, but it does make it more fun. Linear gameplay with pretty simple puzzles. Amazing atmosphere. Friendly game master. Our room hadn’t been fully reset beforehand, but they handled it well. We completed the room easily with 2 and no help If you haven’t played Playground yet, I recommend playing Rugrats before Playground. Since Playground has been repurposed for this room, there are several similarities, both in set design and gameplay. Both are incredible rooms, but Rugrats has less surprises and a much simpler gameplay than Playground

I really loved this room although I wish I had played with a smaller group. I was in a group of 10+ and we just had too many people. I would probably cap my group at 7 at the most because with so many people you didn’t get the chance to see everything or work on more than a few things here and there. The room design and flow was amazing and we all had a great time. We were all so amazed by the set design and just overall had a great time playing this blast from the past room
