The Savannah Speakeasy

I really enjoyed the room. I played it by myself, but unfortunately never made it past the 2nd room.

Very fun game! I completed this with my two kids (9 and 13) and we escaped with minimal help. I think the only hint we got was because of a clue that we were slightly off on the number because I wasn’t tall enough to see it (I’m under 5 ft, so not a typical adult height). We’ve done quite a few escape rooms, and I’m pretty sure my kids could have done with one independently. It’s a fabulous beginner room or one for parents with younger kids. The decor was great! The place itself is really neat and we hung out playing some games for a while.

Definitely an easy beginner room. Only one somewhat difficult puzzle at the end. Lots of variety with the types of puzzles. Fun and quick!!

While this room is simple it was still fun to bring some newbies with us and play it. We had a good time sharing our hobby with them. Overall not that special for a speakeasy room, but if you are looking for something to do in Savannah other than drink. I recommend playing.

Game master was great…however, the employee who greeted our group was rude and not in the best mood. We were the last room of the night and the room had fun puzzles, but unfortunately we were turned off by the negative interactions.

My group breezed through this room, but I still did not enjoy the experience. The first and last room are extremely cramped for our group of 4. The maintenance here is horrendous, and there was even a dead cockroach in one of the rooms. I found this room very easy overall, but I can actually see how it would be frustratingly confusing for some. There is a puzzle that would be hard for vertically challenged people to figure out. Some of these puzzles just required guess and check on our end because they weren't very clear. Not very many puzzles overall.

So, these rooms are in a bar. You can bring your drinks in the room. These rooms are designed to make sure drunk people can stumble through and not break Things. It’s not hard for people interested in escape rooms. It might be hard for people who bring drinks into the room. We had 6 people and it was way too many. That said, it was fine. If you are in Savannah and looking to do a room, it scratches an itch.

Played this room solo and needed a few hints from game keeper to get out of first room. I I was on the right track each time but one clue I was not ever going to get as I wasn’t tall enough to see it clearly. Room had good variety of puzzles

Admittedly not a very difficult room but we enjoyed. The theming was fun and it’s definitely a plus they have a bar here and can drink during the game. They will even bring you more drinks during the game. Not gonna blow your socks off as solely an escape room, but it’s a good experience.

Logic leaps, hunt and find items (see above) and things nit clearly labeled or old torn and worn made this a less than stellar experience. Also, the stairway to enter was dirty, smelly and looked like it had not been cleaned, swept or kept up in a long time. Take pride in your public areas.
