We were fortunate to do this room, along with their newly reopened Madam LeClare’s Seance room during our trip to Osaka. We weren’t sure what to expect but we were blown away by both rooms! This room contained the stronger puzzles and had more of a traditional “escape room” feel than their Seance room but both rooms were incredible and worth going out of your way to do if you’re traveling in Japan. The tactility, creativity and narrative focus in this room was so satisfying and contained plenty of “wow” moments that I have never seen in any other room. We never thought we would be comparing an escape room in Japan to rooms like Man from Beyond and Servants of Sleight but here we are! The humor, physicality and plot of this room elevate it into the top tier of rooms I’ve ever done. The GMs work really hard in this game and the care they take shows. We met one of the designers and they took the time to show us a little bit of how both rooms work and were so kind. We will make it a point to visit their rooms again on our next trip to Japan, whenever that may be!

Loved it! How the story flows and the detailed design in the aesthetics has made this one of my favourite immersive escape rooms. Each puzzle was also very fun. I will be definitely recommending this room to players who love immersive escape rooms! Definitely one of the best that I've played so far!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Studio Escape For Queen & Country in Osaka, and it was fantastic. This escape room provides an amazing experience that is both story-driven and immersive. The theme centres around an exciting spy mission, and from the moment you begin, you are fully engaged in the narrative. The atmosphere is meticulously designed to reflect the high-stakes world of espionage, adding an extra layer of excitement to the adventure. What sets it apart is its accessibility for English speakers. The entire experience is available in English, making it easy to follow the intricate storyline and solve the puzzles without any language difficulties. The puzzles are cleverly integrated into the spy theme, requiring keen observation, logical thinking, and teamwork to crack. Each task feels like a real part of the mission, enhancing the overall immersion and making the experience incredibly satisfying. Overall, Studio Escape For Queen & Country is the second best escape room I have ever done, right after Shadow Zen. If you’re in Osaka and looking for an exhilarating and well-crafted escape room, this one is a must-try. You won't regret it!

Great set design with impressive mechanical elements. Went in without much knowledge on what it was all about, but it made the experience way more fun! Found the dialogue and some of the little details to be hilarious 😂 Very immersive - would recommend!

This was an elaborately (and hilariously) themed experience with some of the most elaborate mechanical features that I’ve seen in any escape room. The puzzles are very obvious, making this a great escape room for first-timers. But it’s fun all the way through, and you’ll have to work quickly to solve it before the hour is up!

This game is great! I've only played 2 games at Studio Escape/Escape Osaka, and both of them are definitely of higher quality than I expected. Full English is available for this game. The decor is great, and I highly recommend this game. Go play it!

Going in as cold as possible to what “For Queen & Country” is about is probably the best way to experience it. Mind blowing immersion, incredible set design, super polished gameplay, flawless flow, fun and very engaging story (very funny too), puzzles that all connected and made sense (AND NO ENDLESS LOCKBOXES EITHER!). And it can be played in Japanese or English (and the game is offered in 100% perfect English). All the elements worked together so seamlessly that we were kind of in complete disbelief by the end. What makes the entire experience work is how you truly did not know what was going to happen next when you progressed. Each space was always a new set of skills, puzzles and experiences you hadn’t done or seen yet. And this game has many that we haven’t seen in any escape room ANYWHERE in the world too. And best of all, it’s not too hard either, which is great because it keeps things breezy, entertaining, and most importantly fun. Newbies and experienced vets alike won’t even care that it’s not the hardest escape room they’ve ever done. The writing, dialogue, immersion, sets, everything is so freaking top notch. I can’t stress enough just how cool and creative this experience is. I wish I could play it for the first time again. If you’re ever in Osaka, Japan, you owe it to yourself to check out For Queen & Country.

Have to duck down very low at a certain point and basically crawl. This can be bypassed however.
